Finding support through military life is a need.
And one of the scariest words (in my opinion) when I think about military life is “deployment”.
That word terrified me before I even met my now-husband, and well before I had any personal experience with military life.
Yes, it is terrifying. I’d be lying if I said anything else.
But you also don’t have to walk this road alone.
Back in October of 2022, I had the chance to sit down with Brittany from MilSO Box and Rachelle from Sea to Sea with Love.
We had a 45 minute chat talking all about going through your first deployment!
From how deployment varies by person, to a general idea of what to expect, to a few care package tips, we covered SO many things I wish I had known before our first long-term military separation.
Watch our deployment chat here!
And please, if you have any questions or want additional support, reach out to me!
I will gladly guide you to helpful resources, be a listening ear, and even share my own thoughts and experiences with you if that’s what you need.
You are not alone on this military journey. You are loved and supported 🤍
